Cool 3D Optical IllusionCould you use a device like this?
Explanation This optical illusion uses 3D overlap, perspective angles and shading to create quite a puzzle. For example, the spoke coming out of the center section and extending toward the upper right appears to connect with the upper right corner because it overlaps it. This rod is really sticking straight up and not touching the upper right corner. It appears to touch in the 3D image our mind sees because, in the picture, which is 2D, they touch. The perspective angle given to the end of that rod adds to the illusion. The shading of the different parts caused us to group them together which supports this optical illusion. |
